Who we are and what this covers

Jackpot Music Game is run by Progressive Entertainment LLC. This policy covers this website, the Jackpot Music Game player app, and venue accounts. If you have a question about any of it, email us at info@jackpot.game.

What we collect from players

You enter a display name when you join a game. There is no account to create and no email address to hand over. The app uses your device's location to show you the games running nearby, so you can pick the one you are at, and for nothing else. We keep a record of the games you have played and how you scored, which is what makes the scoring and the Fast Finger prize work.

What we collect from venues

Venues create an account to run games. That account holds the contact details given to us and a record of credits purchased and games run.

If you win the jackpot

Paying a jackpot takes more than a display name. We will ask for what is needed to pay you and to meet our tax reporting obligations, and we keep those records as long as the law requires.

How we use information

To run and score games, pay prizes, support venues, and keep the service working. We do not sell your information.

Who we share it with

Companies that help us run the service, and only what they need for that job: hosting, email, and Stripe, which processes venue payments. We do not store card numbers ourselves. We also share information where the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. If that changes, we will update this page.

Children

Jackpot Music Game runs in licensed venues. The service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

How long we keep it and how we protect it

We keep information as long as we need it to run the service and meet our legal obligations, then delete it. We use reasonable measures to protect it, though no system is completely secure.

Your choices

Email info@jackpot.game to ask what we hold, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law, and the same address reaches us.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
