For players
Get the app and join the next game.
Jackpot Music Game is free to play, and the Android app is a free download, and the iPhone version is currently in open beta through TestFlight. Grab it once and you can walk into any bar running a game and be playing along before the first song is over.

Venues: print this for your table tents so people can get the app without leaving their seat.
Once you have it
Three steps and you are in the game.
-
Open the app
Type in a name so the room knows who to cheer for when you win. There is no account to create and no email address to hand over before you can play.
-
Join the game
The app shows you the games running nearby. Pick the one you are at and you are in, with your own card, filled with songs in an order nobody else has.
-
Tap along
When you recognise a song, tap it. Finish your card first and you win whatever the bar has put up, and in the third round you are playing for the jackpot as well.
Running a venue?
You do not need this app.
The venue side of Jackpot Music Game runs in an ordinary web browser on the laptop, tablet or phone behind the bar. Nothing for you or your staff to download. This app is only for the people playing along.
Questions
Before you download.
Does it cost anything?
Not a penny, at any stage. The app is free to download and the game itself is free to play, which is exactly why it is not gambling. Bars are not allowed to charge you to join, and they cannot make you buy anything as a condition of playing either.
What do I win?
Whoever finishes their card first takes whatever prize the bar has put up for that round, which is usually a five or ten dollar coupon to spend on a later visit. The third round of every game also plays for a progressive jackpot, and that one is paid by us rather than by the venue.
Do I need to sign up for anything?
No. You enter a name when you join so the room knows who to cheer for, and that is the whole registration process. There is no account to create and no email address to hand over.
Where can I play?
At any bar, pub, taproom or restaurant running a game. Venues schedule their own, so the easiest way to find one is to ask the bar you already go to, or to keep an eye out for the table tents. If your local does not run games yet, point whoever is behind the bar at this website.
Which phones does it work on?
Recent versions of iPhone and Android. If your phone can run the app store you downloaded it from, it will almost certainly run the game.
